Another successful Fanfare Show was held at the Camperdown Showgrounds on Sunday the 8th of May.
Forecast wet conditions saw the show held indoors under the eye of judge, Michael Eagles from NSW.
With over 65 entries, it was great to see incredible depth in numbers and quality given the current dire condition the dairy industry is in.
Champion Cow came from Munden Farms with a Reality daughter purchased at the recent Rockvale 2nd Stage dispersal sale. Avago Marble from the Morris camp backed up her Reserve Champion win in 2015 to take it out once again in 2016. Intermediate Champion went to Ben Hentschke & Caitlin Liebich with their Burdetter in-milk heifer, with Boldview Farms taking out Reserve with a Tasman Lodge Barista daughter who went on to sell in the sale the following day. Junior Champion was owned by John McLean from Ireland who purchased the fancy Dempsey calf from the Morris Family during his recent visit to Australia, reserve was taken out by Todd Rothe from South Australia with a Burdette rising 2 year old.
